The Leia’s Kids Mother–Daughter Retreat is a healing experience designed specifically for mothers and their daughters who are fighting or have fought childhood cancer. It’s more than a weekend away — it’s a space to breathe, reconnect, and rediscover strength together.
Each family leaves with renewed hope, deeper understanding, and lasting friendships with others who truly understand the journey. Through mental health workshops, guided reflection, and meaningful activities, mothers and daughters gain emotional tools to cope with the impact of cancer, improve communication, and nurture their well-being long after the retreat ends. Most of all, they leave reminded that they are not alone, there is a community walking beside them, supporting both the fighter and the caregiver every step of the way.
Our retreats run from Friday afternoon to Sunday Afternoon. Upon arrival, attendees can settle in and begin their journey of relaxation and connection.
From the moment you arrive, everything is covered! This includes:

Yes. If your aunt or grandmother was the person who journeyed with you through your cancer diagnosis and served as your primary caregiver or support person, they may attend in your mother’s place. Please email [email protected] to confirm eligibility.
This retreat is designed for mothers and daughters, but we understand that every family’s situation is unique. If your mother has passed away or you’ve experienced another life event that prevents her from attending, your next closest female caregiver who has supported you through treatment may qualify.
Unfortunately, this retreat is limited to one mother (or female guardian) and one daughter. To ensure a meaningful and focused experience, we are not able to accommodate additional siblings or family members at this event.
Our support doesn’t end when the retreat is over. After the event, we offer resources to help attendees continue their journey:
