“Leia’s Kids is the link between the community and children battling childhood cancer. So we do two things, we raise awareness, but we also want to spread hope and be someone for these families, that are going through such a hard time, to lean on,” said Hunt.
Leia’s Kids made their first donation on March 10, 2018 to Ian Cornish. Cornish, an autistic 15-year-old boy, was diagnosed with stage 4 brain cancer. He has an inoperable tumor and is currently undergoing radiation.
Leia’s Kids donated to him and his family a $1,000 donation.
